How we collect, use and protect personal data under the UK GDPR.

QuantumXL Ltd (“QuantumXL”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of personal data collected through this website and our commercial engagements. This notice explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

  • Contact details you submit through enquiry forms, email or scheduled calls (name, work email, company, phone, and the content of your enquiry).
  • Meeting information handled by our scheduler and CRM providers when you book a discovery call.
  • Technical data logged by our hosting and analytics providers (IP address, browser, device, referring page, and pages viewed).
  • Cookie identifiers described in our cookie policy below.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry, provide a proposal, and deliver work you have engaged us for (contract).
  • To keep the site secure, monitor abuse, and improve how it performs (legitimate interests).
  • To meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations (legal obligation).
  • To send occasional relevant updates where you have opted in (consent).

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with vetted processors that support the services above — principally our email, CRM, scheduling, hosting, analytics and payment providers. Where a provider is outside the UK, transfers are made under the UK’s approved safeguards (Adequacy Regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is retained for up to 24 months from last contact. Contract and project records are retained for 7 years after project completion to meet accounting and audit obligations. Technical logs are retained for up to 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, port or restrict the personal data we hold about you, and object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Where processing relies on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. Contact us at support@quantumxl.co.uk.
